Work packages

The INFINITY Ecosystem, from the perspective of the project’s 16 work packages, per the project’s Description of Action (Part B).

#1 Project Management and Coordination 1

Coordinates and supervises the project's R&I activities, administrative/financial management, EC liaison, data management, and quality/risk/ethics compliance for months 1-14.

#10 INFINITY software ecosystem for multi-context CHDO: software components deployment and evaluation

Finalises deployment of the INFINITY software ecosystem and rigorously evaluates it against state-of-the-art baselines, delivering the Beta and 1.0 releases.

#11 Integration with the DS4CH and ECCCH

Implements coordination mechanisms with the European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage (ECCCH) and the common European data space for cultural heritage (DS4CH).

#12 Integration with the DS4CH and ECCCH

Continues and finalises WP11's work interfacing the project results with the ECCCH and DS4CH.

#13 INFINITY Methodology and Training Materials

Consolidates, standardises, and packages INFINITY results into training materials for cultural heritage institutions, research infrastructures, creative industries, and academic research/education.

#14 Dissemination, Communication, Exploitation

Plans, implements, and monitors the Plan for Exploitation, Dissemination and Communication of results (PEDR), and manages the FSTP Open Call.

#15 Dissemination and Communication, Exploitation

Continues WP14's PEDR activities, focused on visibility, stakeholder engagement, and capacity-building workshops.

#16 Dissemination and Communication, Exploitation

Final phase of WP14/15's PEDR activities, securing long-term impact and sustainability of INFINITY's results.

#2 Project Management and Coordination 2

Continuation of WP1's coordination and management activities for months 15-28.

#3 Project Management and Coordination 3

Continuation of WP1/WP2's coordination and management activities for months 29-42.

#4 Assessing collection management practices and benchmarking technical approaches

Assesses existing practices and tools for Cultural Heritage Digital Object (CHDO) collection management, and benchmarks ~20 commonly used Collection Management Systems (CMS).

#5 Use Case Requirements and Design

Formalises the requirements and design of INFINITY's use cases, preparing the basis for technology validation, via a technical roadmap and a shared validation protocol.

#6 Scale Up and Deployment: Use Case Implementation

Integrates INFINITY software components into end-user applications for the six use cases and runs their initial data collection and testing campaigns.

#7 Scale up and Deployment: Use Case Validation

Final technical deployment and evaluation of the six use case platforms, validating INFINITY technologies through use-case-associated campaigns.

#8 INFINITY ecosystem for multi-context CHDO: Ethics-driven requirements and design

Requirements and design for ethical CHDO annotation and reuse, centred on the novel idea of multidimensional knowledge graphs (mKG).

#9 INFINITY software ecosystem for multi-context CHDO: software components implementation

Technical development of the INFINITY software ecosystem components responding to WP8's requirements and design, delivering the first (Alpha) ecosystem release.
